MODERATE MALAYSIA IN DANGER

Pakatan Rakyat Supreme Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s failure to rein in DAP is jeopardizing Malaysia’s name internationally as a moderate country. The game that DAP are playing, regardless of the outcome of the next general election, is a highly dangerous one which may forever tarnish Malaysia’s reputation as a moderate country.

This is because referring to the latest published remarks from Perkasa’s secretary-general who had said that “the faith of Islam, of Muslims is under siege in Selangor”. This implies that Christians were likely to become more aggressive in their proselytisation attempts in Selangor with Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim now in charge of Islamic affairs.

The religious portfolio was previously handled by conservative Datuk Hasan Ali, until earlier this month when he was sacked from Islamic PAS for repeatedly exposing the proselytisation attempts in Selangor by Christian. Even the Sultan of Selangor in his statement regarding the DUMC inspection agreed that proselytisation attempts in Selangor is a real issue that needs to be addressed.

While the prime minister was pushing for Malaysia to lead a global movement of moderates for peace, DAP and its cohorts are creating a fertile ground in breeding extremist racism and religion. The Supreme Leader Anwar Ibrahim inaction against right-wing Christian movement’s growing audacity in issuing statements that provoke fear and anger between Muslims and Christians in the country is alarming and shows a lack of leadership of Anwar Ibrahim.

The attacks against Mosques in Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan and Johor show how dangerous the issue is, and the Supreme Leader has kept mum all this while.  Without sincerity and political will from the top leadership, DAP has the tacit approval to do its worse in the light of the upcoming general elections to sow fear into the hearts of the Malay-Muslim community.

Should this be allowed?

Of course, we as Malaysians are concerned and always intrepid peace will never have allowed this to occur and recur. DSAI is one of the important individuals cause of our Malay @nation divided. Am NOT racist, but racial fire kindled by him has led our country become worst and worst. This is the time to look forward by the DAP since time immemorial. Many incidents have already occurred demonstrates the PKR leadership is trying to play with issues of religion and race in order to get cheap votes of the people. As a visionary Malay, I hope that our nation's youngsters are aware that what is played by the opponent is a bad and worst game!

Regards,
Zach.
