With full of sadness, this is to inform you that one of UTP ME Alumni, Dr Yakubu Dan-Mallam (ID: G01976) from Nigeria, has passed away on 21st April 2016 at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar due to low immune system caused by low level of hemoglobin and some complications in his lungs. He graduated in 2014 under the supervision of Dr M Zaki Abdullah and AP Dr Puteri Sri Melor from ME Dept.
Upon agreement from his family, he will be buried in Alor Setar on Thursday 28th April 2016 at 11.00pm.
In view of the above situation, UTP Alumni Unit would like to seek for your generosity to help alleviate his wife’s (currently undergraduate at UUM, with three small kids) burden in getting through this difficult time. The estimated total burial cost is RM9500.00, while the Employer of the late Dr Yakubu will only provide RM3000.00
