MYRAPID CARD FOR ALL RAPIDKL NETWORKS BEGINNING TOMORROW @MyRapidKL
KUALA LUMPUR, 30 June -- Beginning tomorrow (1 July), MyRapid Card, which currently provides seamless travel on LRTs and monorail, will be accepted for usage on all RapidKL buses.
“Our cashless fare collection system is now complete. MyRapid Card can be used in all RapidKL networks – the LRT, Monorail and RapidKL buses,” says Dato’ Ir Zohari Sulaiman, the Chief Executive Officer of Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd – the bus services operation arm of Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad.
“I strongly urge commuters who have yet to own our MyRapid Card to do so now. It is the most convenient way to travel on RapidKL public transport network. The cards can be purchased and reload at all LRT and Monorail stations. Purchases and reload of the MyRapid cards can also be made at key bus hubs around Klang Valley like Puchong Utama, One Utama, Pasar Seni and Section 2 Shah Alam bus hub.
“In conjunction with the commencement of service on buses, commuters can also get their cards from our promoters at various bus hubs and bus stations,” added Zohari, who is also Prasarana’s Group Director for Bus Division.

Apart from convenience and speedier travels, Zohari also said that those using MyRapid Cards for travels beginning tomorrow will enjoy 20 percent discount on their fares.
“This is our way of saying Thank You for your support. This offer for a limited time only,” said Zohari, adding that MyRapid Card users would also be enjoying shopping discounts under MyRapid Card Privileges programme.
RapidKL bus network services a total 164 routes and more than 1,000 residential areas in Klang Valley and Selangor including feeder buses to connect LRT and Monorail stations.
