Part 1 : Analysis of Strength & Social Media Influence by the UMNO Youth Deputy Chief candidates @LokmanAdam @JamawiJaafar @Azwanbro #KLChronicle

Hello & Good Afternoon,

Today I felt the urge to write my thoughts on the topic "Analysis of Strength & Social Media Influence by the UMNO Youth Deputy Chief candidates". As we know, since the amount of grassroots leaders who will be voting in the coming election is approaching the tens of thousands, it is impossible for a candidate to meets all the grassroot leaders in the campaigning period, so social media is quickly becoming the medium & effective way for interacting with the UMNO grassroots and for candidates to convey their message and share their daily activities.

Among the social media medium that is often used is Facebook, Twitter, Blogs & Instagram. In addition, I find there are some candidates who use YouTube to deliver their message. Below are my findings:

Facebook

Lokman Adam has a total of 36.518 likes

In view of the influence of FB, I found Lokman Noor Adam topped the list of "Like" the most. To date, the number of "Like" at Lokman Noor Adam FB page was 36.518 compared to the two other candidates.  They only manage to muster 2,959 and 528 "Like" respectively.

Azwanbro has a total of 2,959 likes

Jamawi has a total of 528 likes

In addition, I found among the three candidates, the candidate who communicates most with their followers on Facebook is Lokman Noor Adam. The rest mostly are 1 way communication over which they post something on FB and then do not response to the comments from their followers. If readers want certainty please "like" the page of this three candidates and see for yourself.

God willing, if given the chance tomorrow I will talk a little about my research related to the strength and influence of this candidates on twitter.
