SPECIAL BUS SERVICE FOR WORLD SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP IN SEPANG Cc @MyRapidKL

 
KUALA LUMPUR, 11 May – Rapid KL will be providing a special bus shuttle service from the city and KLIA2 for motorcycling fans to travel to Sepang International Circuit (SIC) this weekend for the 2016 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship Malaysian Round.
 
 Operated by Rapid Bus Sdn Bhd, the special shuttle service will operate for the entire three days of the event from Friday (May 13) to Sunday (May 15) with passengers’ pick-up and drop-off at KL Sentral and KLCC and at KLIA2.




 
 “Bus service starts from 8am at these three pick-up points for all three days. Services will be at a frequency of between 30 and 45 minutes with the last bus leaving for Sepang at 12 noon,” says Encik Mohd Azam Omar, who is Rapid Bus Chief Operating Officer for Rapid KL bus services.  
 
 For return trips, the first bus will be leaving SIC at 4pm with service frequency also between 30 to 45 minutes. The last bus is scheduled to leave at 7pm for all three days.
 
 Ticket also priced at RM35 return ticket from KLCC and KL Sentral and RM20 for a one-way trip. For travel between KLIA2 to SIC, tickets are priced at RM12 for a one-way ticket. No return ticket is offered for the KLIA2-SIC sector.
 
 “Bus tickets are only sold at drop-off and pick-up locations and at SIC during the event days,” said Azam, who strongly encouraged fans to use the shuttle service instead of using the private vehicles.
 
“Taking the bus will provide you a hassle-free trip. No stress of driving and no worry of looking and paying for parking spots at the circuit. We strongly recommend fans to take the bus service and enjoy themselves to the fullest at the event,” he added.
 
 Hosted by SIC and back for the third year running, the MOTUL FIM SUPERBIKE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2016 Malaysian Round is the second biggest international two-wheel motorsports championship held in Malaysia.
 
 The upcoming World SBK at Sepang will be a weekend to remember for all bike and racing enthusiasts, particularly as local favourite Muhammad Zulfahmi Khairuddin will be competing in Sepang for the first time in the World Supersport category.
 
 The first race to be held at Sepang after the completion of the track resurfacing works early this month, fans can look forward to an exciting three days of activities, including favourites like the Pit Lane Walk, Opening Ceremony Bike Parade, Autograph Session with the riders and exhilarating on track excitement.
