Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar had previously provided guarantees & assurance to the rakyat that the number of bus for this coming Hari Raya Aidilfitri will be sufficient.  He had also asked for the rakyat to not be restless as SPAD will ensure additional buses if the need arises to cater for rising demand during the holiday period.

Malaysian conglomerate Sime Darby Bhd's plantation group has immediately denied there are any fires in any of its operating areas in Indonesia, where forest fires have been smothering Southeast Asia with smoke.

A Singapore Straits Times report today quoted Indonesian officials as saying that they are monitoring eight firms but did not name them although environmentalists said a Sime Darby unit had fires on its land.

Sime Darby named was mentioned in the article by The Malaysian Insider (Here) in bad faith.

I read with amazement the article by The Malaysian Insider related to the delays of KLIA 2. Let's go through what was written in the article and dissect it paragraph by paragraph :

Poor building design and soil conditions is the cause of repeated delays for Kuala Lumpur's new RM4 billion budget airport, which has doubled in cost and is now only expected to be open in May 2014, according to The Edge Review.

I am ok with this paragraph but hold on before any construction is carried out, a Detail Design needs to be carried out first and prior to detail design you would need to do the soil investigation surveys. As the client what was MAHB engineers doing? did they not review the soil investigation report? Note i mentioned MAHB, and not the government. It is two (2) different entity all together.

I have written before on the standard of proof in election petitions. Thus I will not comment on YB Rafizi Ramli’s statement on the same subject.

I read with disgust today the article from The Mole that Pas central committee member Dzulkefly Ahmad and DAP national vice chairman Teresa Kok have been suggested by their respective parties to be Selangor political liaison officers to the Mentri Besar office.

Dzulkefly when contacted by The Mole confirmed that his name had been endorsed by Pas' central working committee to be appointed to the portfolio.

Lim Kit Siang has again, well i always say this about this guy but again he talked nonsense and seems to be blaming everybody BUT himself and DAP. It seems that UMNO are the crooked one, the oppressed one and etc but DAP are the angels born from heaven.  If all of us, Malaysian remember correctly, prior to GE 12, yes i mean the Pre - 2008 it was bloody good.  All races could sit down together, discuss, lepak at Mamak and what not without being wary of one another.

This is so disgusting. If it is true i hope the authorities take appropriate action (if any). Always picking on the Malay's that they (Malay's) are racist but never before i have seen an advertisement that promotes "Malay Only" jobs. If you have been reading my blog consistently, you might have noticed that i am now aggressively promoting a Facebook page titled "Friends of Seputeh" . Well, i am sure most of you will start to think that this Facebook page is just like any other pages where you are either pro -government or against the government. But well, i would like to clearly state that it is not true. 

The main objective of creating the Friends of Seputeh page is to for urbanites to interact with one another, and basically share common problems and discuss common solutions to the problem facing each constituency. I am still working out the details, but appreciate if you can like this page, and would be much better to promote it to our friends as well.
