1. Recently former PPBM leader Anina Saadudin had attacked Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM). As expected her attacks did not go down well with certain PPBM leaders especially PPBM supreme council members such as Rais Hussin.
2. Rais Hussin, who is also the head of PPBM’s policy and strategy bureau, said this was because members of the public have found it difficult to trust her following her sudden 180-degree shift in political stance.
Quoting Rais Hussin;
_It will help us. Anina made her name by issuing a lot of vulgar verbal attacks on Najib,” he said to FMT, referring to Prime Minister and Umno president Najib Razak._
_“But now she has turned around and is showering praises on Najib and Umno. When you do that, you lose all the credibility you once had._
_“So Anina can say whatever she wants, because no one will trust her. She doesn’t have the credibility to pose a threat to us anymore.”_

3. First of all, i would like to say a very big thank you to Rais Hussin for issuing that statement. This is because he has taken the effort to confirm that:
_a_ : People who do a mega U-turn in politics will lose all the credibity that he/she once had.
_b_ : No one will trust the words coming out from this type of person.
_c_ : This kind of person does not pose a threat to anyone.
4. This reminds me of a few politicians who fits the profile as what was mentioned by Rais Hussin earlier. These politicians are Dr. Mahathir Mohamad and Lim Kit Siang. Let's take Dr. Mahathir as an example. This is a guy who once called Lim Kit Siang a racist and sacked his former deputy Anwar Ibrahim on trumped up sodomy charges.
5. This is the same man who then told the international media that he cannot allow someone who is of low moral value (Anwar) to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Now he has turned around and is showering praises on Anwar, Kit Siang and the opposition parties.
6. Using the same logic from Rais Hussin's statement, Dr. Mahathir's mother of all U-turns will cause Dr. Mahathir to lose credibility that he once had. In fact Dr. Mahathir can say whatever he wants, because no one will trust him. He doesn’t have the credibility to pose a threat to BN anymore going by Rais Hussin's statement.
7. Based on the above, i would again like to thank Rais Hussin for pointing out that people like Dr. Mahathir, who does u-turns all the time on major issues have loss all credibility and no one will trust him anymore. It is people like you in PPBM that makes the job of BN parties much easier. Thank you for being honest about politicians who like to make U-turns in their life.
