Mac 17, 2016- "It is not a mansion and has no swimming pool,” Lim told Malaysiakini.

Mac 23, 2016- In 2014, CM and I then executed an agreement dated 23.6.2014 whereby I agreed to grant him a 5 year option tenure to purchase the said property at RM2.8million in consideration of CM paying me RM100,000-00.

Neither have I obtained any benefit from the state government by selling the house to him.

Mac 25, 2016- Lim Guan Eng said today he did not know the market value of the bungalow he bought last year for RM2.8 million.

 Speaking to reporters invited to view his house, Lim said he was not a property agent.

Lim, who is leader of the DAP and chief minister of Penang, said the price had been agreed between him and the previous owner in 2012.

He was quoted as saying that the owner had agreed to hold the price at RM2.8 million, based on an understanding with his wife Betty Chew.

“I would not know the price. There was a verbal understanding,” he was quoted as saying

Mac 26, 2016- Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said he knew the market value of his bungalow, which he had allegedly bought at below market value.

Phang Li Khoon is a shareholder and director of Magnificent Emblem. In 2014, Magnificent Emblem submitted to convert an agriculture land to development land. The State Land Committee Chairman is Lim Guan Eng.

Betty Chew was a director and shareholder of Excel Property Management & Consultancy Sdn Bhd with Phang Li Khoon, a shareholder and her siblings are director of the company. The company was set up in 2013.

2009 July 1st - Lim Guan Eng rented 25, Pinhorn Rd from Phang Li Khoon.

2012- Verbal understanding to buy over the property at RM2.8 million between Betty Chew and Phang Li Khoon.

2013 June 26th - Excel Property Management and Consultancy Sdn Bhd was set up by Betty Chew & Phang.

2014 June 23rd - Agreement executed between Lim Guan Eng and Phang Li Khoon on a 5 year option tenure to purchase the property

2014 July 18th - Magnificent Emblem's conversion application was approved by State Government chaired by Lim Guan Eng.

2015 July 28th- Lim Guan Eng purchased 25, Pinhorn Road bungalow from Phang Li Khoon.
