The Bar Council Has Lost Its Credibility & Independence @mpkotabelud @GoTeamRD

The Malaysian Bar Council, which was established to safeguard the interest of all Malaysians is now officially a mouthpiece of opposition leaders and parties in the country. This can be observed by the flawed and double standards being applied by the Bar Council with respect to the Defamation suit being filed by Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Haji Najib Tun Razak against Malaysiakini for propagating lies and defaming the Prime Minister.

I refer to the tweets from Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan, Minister of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government and currently the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Kota Belud constituency yesterday which had slammed the Malaysian Bar Council for being BLIND & DEAF for looking the other way when Anwar Ibrahim or Lim Guan Eng sued the media.

I have to agree with Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan as the Bar Council, since 2008 has been seen and is seen to be an extension of Pakatan Rakyat. Even if you look at the Bar Council website, you can see that there is a video between the Bar Council President and the Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng :

Rather than be independent, the video above depicts the close relationship that the Bar Council have with opposition leaders until to a point that it questions the credibility and independence of the Bar Council. I wonder are the lawyers, who are part of the Bar Council agree with the direction that the Bar Council is taking i.e. being a mouthpiece of the opposition parties ?

if YES, the Bar Council and lawyers that is associated with it has failed miserably and if NO, wake up, challenge the direction that the Bar Council President is taking. Don't be silent as the rakyat is not stupid. The rakyat clearly knows that the Bar Council has been penetrated by people who are not independent and are Pro-Opposition. Do not let because of a few people the image of the Bar Council is tarnished beyond repair.
