Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan, Minister of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government and currently the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Kota Belud constituency slammed pro opposition newsportal Malaysiakini for misleading the public on its report with regards to the appointment of new Ministers and Deputy Ministers which was announced recently.
This is not the first time that Datuk Abdul Rahman had to defend the government against inaccurate ans malicious reporting by Malaysiakini. Previously, I had written on this same issue of bias reporting by Malaysiakini and to a certain extend The Malaysian Insider.

Anyway, Referring to tweets sent out by Datuk Abdul Rahman , it is obvious that the PKR controlled Selangor government spent more on its MB & EXCO members compared to the federal government. This is in itself does not make sense as the federal government roles and responsibilities is much greater than a state government. The question is why did Malaysiakini hid this fact from the public?

Looking at the image above, we can see that the Selangor MB and deputy speaker earns more than the PM & DPM!!This is utterly rubbish and does not make sense. Why is Malaysiakini silent on this?
I hope the public can evaluate and judge for themselves the bias reporting from Malaysiakini. This portal has never been honest in its reporting of the government and continue to do even though it is now being sued by the Prime Minister for libel. Malaysiakini seems to never learn from its mistakes.
