The Hudud Dilemma in Pakatan Rakyat

Yesterday, Chief Minister of Penang, Saudara Lim Guan Eng has vehemently rejected and opposed the proposed Hudud law in Kelantan. Now, take note that Lim Guan Eng is from the Chinese based chauvinist Democratic Action Party (DAP) which forms the backbone of Pakatan Rakyat. The proposed hudud law in Kelantan is coming from Parti Islam Se-Malaysia (PAS), a minor party which is also is part of the Pakatan Rakyat pact. How could two (2) parties that is in the same pact so publicly disagree on the law is mind blowing.

Nevertheless, i would like to quote what Saudara Anwar Ibrahim said yesterday:

“Kita sebagai orang Islam, kita tidak boleh pertikai undang-undang Al-Quran. Saya bukan Mahathir. Kita kena terima (Hudud)"   Source : HERE

Now Anwar Ibrahim is the opposition leader of Pakatan Rakyat, in simple terms he is the supreme leader of all three (3) political parties DAP, PKR and PAS. My question is, how come the supreme leader and the minority party is agreeing on Hudud, but the backbone of Pakatan Rakyat i.e. DAP is disagreeing? Don't they discuss first between themselves prior to issuing critical statements such as Hudud?

The implication of not discussing things throughout prior to issuing statements shows that Pakatan Rakyat is disorganized and fractured. Each political party has its own ideology and agenda without thinking about the impact it has on the rakyat.

Since we know PAS is adamant with its hudud, DAP is adamant of rejecting/opposing it and PKR as usual spineless in supporting either one, where do Pakatan Rakyat go from here? There are just too many questions being asked about Pakatan Rakyat that in the end it exposes their weakness and demonstrate that they are unable to lead or administer the country properly. Do not give me excuses that they are still new, they have been government is Kelantan for like 20 years, Selangor and Penang for about 7 years plus having a "world class" leader in Anwar Ibrahim.

Finally, do you think Pakatan Rakyat will be a good federal government when they can't even agree on a simple law such as Hudud?
