Why Did @N_izzah Lie to All of Us Today Afternoon ? #KLChronicle

Today the whole country was shocked to hear that Anwar Ibrahim's eldest daughter Nurul Izzah Anwar has filed a "fasakh" at the Kuala Lumpur Lower Syariah Court. Initially, UMNO was accused of spreading "lies" by pro-opposition supporters with respect to this news however  the Lower Syariah Court in Kuala Lumpur today confirmed that Nurul had filed for a divorce from her husband.

In addition to that, according to Bernama, a check of the court's records showed that Nurul, had filed the application early this month. It was filed under the Islamic Family Law (Federal Territories) Act 1984 which provides for the annulment of a marriage by "talaq" or court order. 

Although this news is a sad one for all of us Malaysians, i was also disappointed that Nurul Izzah as a Member of Parliament (Wakil Rakyat) had lied to the very public that supported her throughout this years. I was looking at her twitter account this afternoon and was shocked to find the following:

Did Nurul lied to the public?

This goes in sharp contrast with her political belief that truth and justice needs to be uphold at all times. How can Nurul Izzah as a shining light of truth and justice act so immorally by lying to the rakyat? Aren't we the rakyat supposed to be told the truth on what is going on?

The rakyat has to be consistent, if they want to "kaypoh" in the lives of BN leaders and permit personal attacks on Tun Mahathir, Datuk Seri Najib and Datin Seri Rosmah, they have to also accept that opposition leaders will be subjected to the same scrutiny as BN leaders. 

However, now does the rakyat has two different set's of rule? One for Barisan Nasional and another for Pakatan Rakyat? I hope not as we should be consistent with what we believe in rather than being hypocrites. 

Anyway i've got to go now, but my last question to all of you.. do you like being lied to by your wakil rakyat?
