[Video] How To Develop Great Blog Content - The Pillar Article #KLChronicle

Introduction

Writing a great blog content has always been a dilemma to bloggers. The definition of "great" in my opinion is very subjective depending on who are we talking to i.e. our audience/readers. Sometimes most of our readers prefer simple articles, maximum 5 paragraphs, but some maybe like it to be in point format rather than a long essay.

K.I.S.S

K.I.S.S stands for Keep It Short & Simple. Most readers prefer articles to be short and simple where the message the blogger is trying to share can easily be understood. Furthermore, if you are writing in English and your article is two (2) pages long, there is a high possibility that the massage you are trying to sent out can be 1) lost or 2) misunderstood entirely by the reader.

List

Another way of sharing information very quickly via blogging can also be done via list. A simple example is as below:

Benefit of jogging

  1. Weight loss
  2. Burn abdominal fat
  3. Improve appetite
  4. Strengthen muscle and bone density
  5. Fights insomnia
Rather than writing a long article about "Benefits of Jogging", just list down the benefits with the readers and they would appreciate if more as the message you are trying to share is very clear.

Video (Multimedia)

Video is another great way to share your ideas and thoughts quickly and effectively. People do prefer to see/hear more rather than read articles so video blogging could be the next big thing in political blogs. Just video yourself and then upload it to your blog. Simple

Conclusion

I have shared on a few methods in developing great blog content. I will try to share more on various other things to enhance our knowledge further. Please do tell me what you think and i appreciate every feedback received.

Special note of thanks to Yaro Starak for his fantastic videos.
