THE LONDON FIASCO @NajibRazak @tunfaisal @razlanrafii

In contrast with Anwar Ibrahim's opinion where he thinks that the actions made by a few Bersih supporters (mentioned Pakatan Rakyat) in London would humiliate and tarnish the image of Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. Instead, it showed the world that Najib is a calm leader, instead of making harsh response in facing such situation.

Perhaps Anwar thought that both of the Bersih supporters would be cuffed or 'handled' by the UK police or Najib's bodyguards after they tried to ruin his speech. Images as such is vital to show that Najib is an autocratic dictator, however that did not happen. Instead, both of them were 'rebutted' by Najib in open. Once again, the strategy that was supposed to hit Najib turned to hit Anwar and Bersih instead. Their rude conduct and behaviour in London yesterday was like a follow-up of the behaviours of BERSIH 3.0 supporters in streets around Dataran Merdeka back in April 28.

The Rakyat, who were angered by the riots that occurred in Kuala Lumpur is getting more annoyed with the same approach that was made by two to three Bersih supporters in London. We do not know where did such culture come from, what is certain is that it is not a Malaysian culture. There are many other approaches that can be made. Approaches that are more civilized.

I am certain that the reason why they acted that way was just to gain the attention of the foreign media that was there so that they could say that Najib is being opposed by his rakyat. The fact is, only two to three people came and it only lasted for a few minutes. Not enough to show that 27 million Malaysians are going against the PM.

In a true democracy like ours, the majority of rakyat has chosen Najib as the Prime Minister and some minorities need to accept that fact no matter how much they hate it. That is what democracy is all about. That was the same thing that Datuk Seri Najib said during his speech after all of the commotion that was triggered by those Bersih supporters.

We need to remember that there were hundreds of Malaysians at the event in London and only these two or three people tried tried to be heroes and they even tried to provoke others to join them. Sadly, that did not happen. His presence were even celebrated by the crowd that they were rushing to shake hands with the PM - something that Anwar, Nik Aziz and Ambiga would be mad about.

The truth is, such rude action and the PM's cool response only benefits BN in facing the coming election. If we are to say that he was humiliated, yes he was but Najib handled the situation in a calm manner and it only lasted for a few minutes which then he ordered those Bersih supporters who were shouting to keep quiet.

And they ended up being QUIET!!!
