Another "Mother of all Scandal" in Penang, apa ni @cmlimguaneng?

(Jan 14, 2014): Consortium Zenith BUCG Sdn Bhd expects to complete feasibility studies for the controversial RM6.3 billion Penang undersea tunnel infrastructure project and major roads in April this year, said its chairman Datuk Zarul Ahmad Zulkifli.

Zenith PMC Sdn Bhd, a unit of Zenith Construction, signed a joint-venture agreement with Astral Supreme Construction Sdn Bhd in September 2013 to carry out a feasibility study, design and environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the undersea tunnel.

"We should be able to complete the feasibility studies in April. At the moment, we're ahead of time. We're supposed to complete the feasibility studies by June but we're now bringing it forward," he told reporters after the signing a memorandum of agreement with Koperasi Staff CIDB Malaysia Bhd (KoCIDB) here yesterday.

(Aug 3, 2016): Penang will deliver the feasibility study report on the undersea tunnel as requested by the Federal Works Ministry even if it is not related to the proposal for a third bridge connecting the island and the mainland parts of the state.

In a letter addressed to Works Minister Fadillah Yusof today, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said that the state will send the study for an undersea tunnel by the end of the year or early next year (2017), after its completion.

Nope. Nothing fishy here at all even though it is RM305 million and that half was already paid in January this year and that it is at least 3 years late already even though it is doing studies only.

Heck, even PAC report is twice delayed. Coming up to almost a year delay now.

Move along. Nothing to see here.
