@weekasiongmp : GOM Bursary Graduate Program to cover all students with 9A+ & Above

After so much lies being spewed by opposition leaders that the Government of Malaysia (GOM) had scrapped the Bursary Graduate Program (BGP), Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has confirmed with us in #KLChronicle that the cabinet, in its meeting on 8th April 2015 has made a decision on the matter.

The unanimous decision from the cabinet of Malaysia, led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Haji Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak is that all 714 students who scored 9A+ and above in last year’s SPM examination will receive bursaries for local pre-university studies. Quoting a statement by Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong :

The Cabinet decision today is a huge relief for all our students and their parents,”

Personally, for us at #KLChronicle, the decision made by the Cabinet led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Haji Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak shows that all the effort taken by Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong has finally given positive result. It also shows that the Prime Minister listen to his cabinet members and is very sensitive to the plight of students and the challenges they face in their education.

This is different with leaders from opposition parties such as DAP, PKR and AMANAH who have time and again seems more interested in spewing lies and playing politics rather than really helping the rakyat.  The Barisan Nasional government on the other hand has work tirelessly to assist the rakyat in various ways it can. This shows that the BN government really cares of the well being of the rakyat.

Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to congratulate  Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong for this success. To all the students who are selected for this program, we hope you really work hard & smart and continue to serve the country as best as you can. Always remember that the assistance that the government provide to you might one day will not be there is there is no more Barisan Nasional.

Just think about it.
