@VellPaari slams desperate @LimKitSiang #Bajet2017 #DemiRakyat

I refer to the statement made in Lim Kit Siang's blog alleging that the Prime Minister so - called repudiates Vision 2020 by announcing Transformasi Nasional 2050 (National Transformation 2050 – TN 50) as the new national lodestone for the next three decades.

Firstly, if you go through the PM's speech, he did not repudiate Vision 2020, what he said was "From now on, TN50 is our lucky charm. Let the old legacy pass. The future of Malaysia, we Recreate".

Vision 2020 is only 3 years away, but after Vision 2020, whats next? There is where TN50 comes into the picture. As a responsibile government, we need to have a vision for the country and TN50 is the next milestone after Vision 2020. We cannot be content with our success in Vision 2020 and stay stagnant when all our competitors are agressively expanding their economy. We would not want to be left behind.

Secondly, if you look at Lim Kit Siang's blog post, it is full with *if* and *question marks* all over it. Even he himself cannot decide did the PM repudiated Vision 2020 or vice versa. He had to asked the PM to confirm it for him. It shows that Lim Kit Siang is actually assuming that Vision 2020 was replaced with TN 50 and trying to paint the government in a bad light. Well that is what the opposition does best.

Thirdly, the reason Lim Kit Siang brought up this Vision 2020 vs. TN50 is only to create more tension between Prime Minister Datuk Seri Haji Najib Bin Tun Abdul Razak and former Premier Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. This is merely a low class political ploy by Lim Kit Siang to get Dr. Mahathir to respond and continue his attacks on the PM.

Fourthly, another reason for Lim Kit Siang in trying to attack Vision 2020 and TN 50 is *to deflect attention away from his corrupted son* who is facing three (3) court charges. The charges are under Section 23 and Section 165 of the Anti-Corruption Act. The first charge is about *the re-zoning approval of Magnificent Emblem’s application to convert agricultural land to residential* and the second one relates to *the purchase of his bungalow at below market value*. The third charge is for *contempt of court*.

Finally, we all know Lim Kit Siang is desperate. The Chinese are angry with him for working with Dr. Mahathir, the *DAP members are angry with him because he keeps on protecting his corrupted son* , the rakyat is angry with him because for the first time in history DAP walked out during the budget presentation. They were the people's representative in Parliament but they failed to even honour that. *Desperate people does desperate things to look relevant*, and Lim Kit Siang is one of them.
