IN 2008, former convict Lim Guan Eng, son of DAP's adviser Lim Kit Siang became the Chief Minister (CM) of Penang and bringing along with him the slogan of Competency, Accountability and Transparency (CAT).
Eight (8) years down the road, the CAT slogan propagated by the CM can now be dump into the rubbish bin following allegations made by Tasek Gelugor MP Datuk Shabudin Yahaya that he bought his multi - million dollar bungalow below the normal market price.
Once this allegations were out in the open and knowing the anger that the people of Penang had in him, Lim Guan Eng conveniently gave a lame excuse that he bought it below market price because the bungalow had no swimming pool. He even said that he bought it without knowing the market price of the property! What a load of rubbish.
In fact in my previous statement, i have clearly demonstrated that Lim Guan Eng knew that he bought his bungalow way below market price.
This is because there was a document by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) ordering Lim Guan Eng to pay RM122,100 stamp duty as assessment tax for his bungalow (valued RM 4.27 million), serves as evidence that the Penang Chief Minister was lying when he said he did not know the market price of his house.
In fact, Seputeh MP Teresa Kok when a notch further to say that her boss's bungalow is below market price because of bad feng shui. The extend DAP leaders goes to defend their boss is mind boggling.
