@VellPaari : Willing Buyer Willing Seller or Tax Evasion @cmlimguaneng ?

Chief Minister of Penang, Lim Guan Eng had bought a bungalow for RM 2.8 million, which was way below the target market price of RM 6 - 6.5 million (discount of approximately RM 3.2 - RM 3.5 million).

The particular bungalow belonged to one Phang Li Koon who bought the property in 2008 for RM 2.5 million and paid for extensive renovations of the property for Lim Guan Eng to move in, in July 2009.

Now, in refuting the allegations by activist and politicians (both government and opposition) that there was kickbacks in this dubious purchase, Lim Guan Eng says that the purchase is on a 'willing buyer, willing seller'  basis thus he did not break any law.

Even prior to this, Dr. Mohd Khir Toyo also bought a property below market price for RM 3.5 million where as the value of property was RM 6 million on a willing buyer, willing seller'  basis. However, Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng went to town accusing Dr. Mohd Khir Toyo of "corruption" and he was subsequently jailed a year by the courts.

So, what is so special about this scandal involving Lim Guan Eng that he cannot be investigated by the police & MACC thus subsequently be taken to court?

But my question is, did Phang Li Koon purposely sold this bungalow on the cheap to Lim Guan Eng to avoid paying high Stamp Duty? If this is so, it clearly demonstrates that Phang Li Koon is working hand in hand with Lim Guan Eng to CHEAT and FRAUD the government.

So is Lim Guan Eng aiding and abetting Phang in tax evasion. The tax authorities must immediately investigate this without fear or favour.  Should be proven true then both Phang and Lim Guan Eng should be charged for the criminal offence to cheat the government and Lim Guan Eng has to resign at once.
