@Weekasiongmp Wants Gagasan Harapan Baru to state its ideology

We at #KLChronicle totally agree with what Datuk Dr. Wee Ka Siong is saying. Gerakan Harapan Baru (GHB) is just a tool by @dapmalaysia to further break up the Malay Muslim voter base into more segments. 

This would then result in the dilution of the Malay voters influence which then will result in a loss of political power. GHB must declare its ideology because if they dont, they will just be the same as PAS but just in another name. 

In fact, the play by PAS + GHB has managed to penetrate both Pakatan Rakyat and Pakatan Rakyat 2.0. This in return ensures their ideology can be disseminated to the opposition supporters by tricking them to believe GHB is liberal. The question is, is GHB liberal? We will never know until they declare their ideology as what mentioned by Datuk Dr. Wee Ka Siong.

Gerakan Harapan Baru (GHB) must declare if its ideology is the same as PAS’ and not keep the people guessing, says the MCA.

MCA deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said GHB was a group made up of PAS members who quit after losing the party elections.

“But until now, they have not made their stand,” he told reporters after opening the Johor Wanita MCA meeting here yesterday.

Dr Wee, who is also the state MCA chairman, said it was still unclear if GHB was going for the idea of the Islamic state or they would be willing to let go of the ideology.

“We don’t want them to beat around the bush. Explain to the multi-racial Malaysian society,” he said.

In his speech, Dr Wee said DAP betrayed the Chinese community when it signed a treaty with PAS at the last general election. They should at the very least admit that this has been a mistake and apologise and now clarify if they are in support of GHB,” he said.

It was unlikely however, he cautioned, for even the “open-minded PAS leaders” to give up their struggle, including that on hudud.
