Three bodies have been found at the site of a helicopter crash at Jalan Sungai Lalang, Kampung Pasir Baru in Semenyih this afternoon, said the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA).
It is believed that at least six people, including several VIPs, were on board that helicopter, the Star Online reported.
The privately-owned chopper was heading to Subang from Kuantan when it crashed.
A Kajang Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said the station received an emergency call at 4.57pm.
"According to preliminary information received, the helicopter crashed and burst into flames at about 4.55pm," reported Bernama.
However, DCA director-general Datuk Azharuddin Abdul Rahman was quoted as saying that the number of people on board has yet to be confirmed. – April 4, 2015.
