How Come @AzminAli Is So Sure About This? #Kajang #KLChronicle

#KLChronicle : Azmin Ali has again reiterated that Anwar Ibrahim will be free from his sodomy charge, not because he did not "DO" it, but because the case investigating officer failed to follow the directive of a Hospital Kuala Lumpur forensic pathologist in the handling of samples retrieved from Saiful. That's about it. They are using a technical glitch to win this case rather than providing ample evidence, without reasonable doubt that Anwar was not at the crime scene and did not sodomized Saiful.

PKR has not made any alternative plans for the Kajang by-election as it believes its candidate, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, will be free from sodomy charge, party deputy president Azmin Ali said last night.

Putrajaya's appeal against the opposition leader's acquittal for the charge began yesterday in the Court of Appeal after a series of objections from Anwar.

"There is no plan A or plan B as we are confident that he will be free (from the sodomy charge) based on the statement that we prepared today and tomorrow.

"The evidence and the argument made by his lawyer Karpal Singh has also strengthen our confidence," Azmin told reporters after campaigning in Sungai Kantan, Kajang, last night.

On January 9, 2012, Anwar was acquitted for sodomising his former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan at a condominium unit in Bukit Damansara in 2008.

Putrajaya is appealing the decision.
In his argument at the court yesterday, Karpal said Anwar should have been acquitted of sodomy without his defence being called as the case investigating officer failed to follow the directive of a Hospital Kuala Lumpur forensic pathologist in the handling of samples retrieved from Saiful.
The decision on the appeal is expected to be known later today.
