Manchester City defender Aleksandar Kolarov could leave the club in order to play regular first-team football.

Kolarov made only 11 league appearances last season
Kolarov, 27, is a reported loan target for Juventus, who signed his City team-mate Carlos Tevez on Wednesday. The Serbian left-back said he would be willing to take a pay cut in order to facilitate a move elsewhere.
“I’m in contact with my agent, and soon we will understand what may happen,” Kolarov told the Manchester Evening News. “I am happy at City but want to play regularly, as I said to [former City manager] Roberto Mancini.

“Money is not everything in life, and I have no problem in revising my salary. Simply, I want a place in the starting line-up.”
Kolarov, a £19 million signing from Lazio in 2010, started only 11 Premier League games last season.
Gael Clichy, who has been the first-choice left-back in the last two years, then signed an extended contract, and Kolarov does not believe Manuel Pellegrini’s appointment as Mancini’s replacement will bring about a change in the pecking order.
The 27-year-old, a set-piece specialist, has scored 11 goals in 88 games during his three-season City career but has found many of his recent opportunities coming either on the left wing or as a substitute.
