I read with utter disgust today on the lies propagated by The Malaysian Insider on its news report today, January 15, 2013. The news report titled Economist says suspended by Bank Islam over polls prediction does not mention anywhere in the article that Mr. Azrul Azwar Ahmad Tajudin confirmed that he was suspended due to the polls prediction he made in Singapore last week.
When contacted by The Malaysian Insider today, Azrul Azwar confirmed that he had been suspended.
“Ya, that’s true,” he said.
When asked how long the suspension will last, he said: “I’m not sure. Perhaps until further notice.”
There is no mention anywhere in the news report that he was suspended because of the polls prediction, and even Mr. Azrul Azwar himself did not confirm the news report. Therefore i am bewildered where did The Malaysian Insider got the idea that he was sacked due to his statement?
As a so called Independent news portal, Malaysian Insider is not so independent after all with this irresponsible article. The Malaysian Insider shall apologize to Bank Islam for defaming and tarnishing the good name of the Bank for no reason.
