Datuk Mansor Othman who is the Deputy Chief Minister I (CM - 1) is now on the verge of being sacked from PKR due to his alleged sabotage of Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, alleged sources within the PKR leadership in Penang.
This is due to the exposed of transcripts conversation during the Penang PKR internal meeting, where it showed that Mansor Othman calling Lim Guan Eng an arrogant leader who is now big headed and can't be brought to discuss on issues related to seat allocation.
It was also brought to our attention that Mansor Othman said that Lim is now so proud of DAP's achievement that he want's to contest in all Chinese dominated seats in Penang. This of course has brought the ire of PKR's chinese leaders who feels that DAP is taking away their roles.
The Criticism hurled by Mansor against the Penang Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng, who is also DAP secretary-general is seen as an act of distrust amongst the opposition leaders while the public sees this as an existence of cracks in the PR collaboration.
Many DAP leaders seemed unable to restrain their anger and urged the leadership of PR to take immediate steps, including getting rid of the Penang PKR chairman from office after the general election.
According to DAP insiders as well, Mansor's actions not only undermine the credibility and integrity of Lim, but also destroyed Lim's image which was orchestrated as a hero of the Chinese.
In addition to the personal scandals Mansor who have intimate relations with a Chinese girl is also public knowledge to DAP and PKR leaders, it is feared this will lead to an increasingly tarnished image of the opposition thus restrict PR opportunity to capture Putrajaya in the 13th general election later.
Therefore, for now DAP want's Mansor Othman to be sacked for insulting Lim Guan Eng. So will Anwar Ibrahim bow to the pressure?
