A REPLY TO @limkitsiang ON MALAY/MUSLIM UNITY cc @mediaumno

The Malaysian Insider today quoted DAP leader Lim Kit Siang of openly criticizing Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for his remarks yesterday, when he was reported to have said the future of the nation depended on the unity of the Malays and Muslims, who formed the majority.

I don't understand why is Lim Kit Siang is so against Malay/Muslim unity? This is the business our the muslim community in this country and Kit Siang has no right to interfere. Who the hell does he think he is? Issuing statement that Malay/Muslim unity is wrong in this country just show how racist Lim Kit Siang is. Is the DAP also against Muslim unity or is it just Kit Siang?

The 1 Malaysia concept that is being propagated by the Prime Minister also emphasize on the requirement of each races to respect each other. My question is why can't Lim Kit Siang respect the muslims in this country?

The chinese and indians have showed that they can unite together for a common cause, for example the chinese united in the Chinese Education issue under Dong Zhong and the Indians under Hindraf (2008).

Why are the Muslims to bend on fighting each other? The answer is very simple, the longer the muslims fight with each other, the weaker we are. This can be proven in Iraq, by segregating Muslims as Shiite and Shias, from a single powerful entity, muslims has been divided into two (2) smaller components. Same as to what is happening here (Muslims in UMNO and in PAS).

My challenge to @limkitsiang is to clarify his position on Malay/Muslim unity, is he pro or against it and what is DAP's stand on this?

Btw Lim Kit Siang, please 'unblock' me from your twitter account. Talking about freedom of speech but to chicken to listen to my criticism? Bloody hypocrite!

Well i think its time the Malays get united...and to LKS we have every right to be united...UMNO stands for United Malays National Organization....its been there for years...since 1946...fighting for the abolition of the Malayan Union..then fighting for Independance....we are now enjoying the freedom fought by our forefathers...not to mention my late father...the UMNO Kota Kuala Muda Division secretary, the leader being the late Tan Sri Khir Johari...LKS...we cannot deny the fact that Malaysia have progressed tremendously...and i think at this juncture all Malays need to be united...the Chinese and Indians too need to be united with the Malays...let us be together to develop our beloved country.
