The people of Penang have not forgotten Lim Guan Eng's
multi - million dollar bungalow scandal

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng was unceremoniously 'schooled' by a member of the public during his latest speech on state funds today.

The incident occurred as Lim was speaking at the launch ceremony of the George Town World Heritage Day Festival at Jalan Pintai Tali earlier today.

In his speech, the chief minister said the Penang government is a clean government and free of corruption.

Penang, said Lim, has sufficient funds for projects for the benefit of Penangites.

However, one person from the crowd responded to his claim, and asked why Penang still has to seek loans for projects if it has enough funds.

It was believed that the person was referring to the Penang government's bid to obtain a loan from Exim Bank of China to fund the Penang Transport Master Plan.

The man's response prompted applause from the spectators.

Lim, however, did not respond to it.
