Anwar's latest ditch to save himself using Fake News from @Sarawak_Report #BebasAnwar

Sarawak Report is the world's No 1 Fake News outlet
Lawyers for Liberty and PKR member, Latheefa Koya just sent a message to reporters saying that Anwar Ibrahim will file an urgent legal challenge against his conviction & imprisonment, arising from the disclosure that RM 9.5million was paid by the PM to prosecutor Tan Sri Shafee.

This is not the first time he is trying to free himself since he was convicted. He had appealed at least half a dozen times to the courts and to the Agong - all meeting in failure.

Pakatan's allegation is that Shafee received RM9.5 million from the Najib Razak in two tranches - on Sept 11, 2013, and on Feb 17, 2014 - therefore, Anwar is innocent!

Such a simplistic and frankly, idiotic reasoning.

As a reminder, Anwar Ibrahim was first found guilty by the Court of Appeal on Mar 7, 2014 and then re-affirmed by the Federal Court on Feb 10, 2015.

Anwar's attempt is bound to fail again as he will have to prove:

1. Whether Shafee was also paid before the final Federal Court decision in 2015 since he had alleged the payments were made to Shafee in 2013 and 2014.

2. The the amounts paid for Najib relates to the Sodomy trial and that Shafee, being a well-known "UMNO" lawyer did not do any other work for Najib or for UMNO during the entire two years period that would have required payment for his services.

3. That the money paid by Shafee had made its way to and influence the decision of the 3 judges on the Court of Appeal and the 5 judges in the Federal Court, all of whom gave an unanimous decision that Anwar was guilty.

4. Why did he leave his sperm everywhere that it got into the possession of the police, why did he not call his 13 witnesses including his wife as originally planned.

I would also like Anwar to answer why he did not dare make an oath on his Quran in a mosque that he was innocent

Additionally, I would also like Anwar to disclose how much he had paid his 12 lawyers for both the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court cases.

To me, this is yet another desperate attempt by Anwar to grasp at any straws and to use any reason to try to free himself while trying to create an impression that our courts system is unfair and bought by Najib.

Desperate people in desperate times do desperate things based on the flimsiest of reasons.

LSS.
