Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd (Rapid Rail), the operator of the Rapid KL LRT and monorail services, wishes to apologise to its customers for the delays on the Kelana Jaya LRT Line this morning.
“We had glitches in the signalling and communication system between the Ampang Park and Dang Wangi stations and had to power down the line at several stations in the city centre for us to attend to the situation. “Trains on the Kelana Jaya Line were shuttling between Putra Heights and Dang Wangi and between Gombak and Ampang Park.
“Buses were also deployed to ferry customers in need of alternate travel services from the Sri Rampai LRT station to the city centre and between KLCC and the city centre,” said Kelana Jaya LRT Line Chief Operating Officer, Ismail Abdullah.
Repair work is underway to resume the service between Ampang Park and Dang Wangi safely. “We wish to extend our sincere apologies to our customers whose travels were interrupted by the glitches.
Commuters who have entered the paid area of the stations may seek refund from our Customer Service Offices,” Ismail added.
