Malaysia bids for operatorship of King Abdul Aziz International Airport Cc @CNN @AKaprawi

World class airport operator, Malaysia Airport Holding Berhad (MAHB) of Malaysia has officially entered the race to become the operator of King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A high - powered delegation led by Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Aziz Bin Kaprawi together with officials from MAHB is now in Saudi Arabia to lobby the Saudi government.

The arrival of Datuk Aziz Bin Kaprawi and MAHB officials were well received by the Saudi government especially Dr. Faizal Hamad Al Sugair, Advisor to the President of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Saudi Arabia. The objective of the visit to Saudi Arabia is to foster close ties between both ministries and also both government. Currently, Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (PRASARANA) is currently one of many Malaysian's Government Link Company (GLC) that is operating in Saudi Arabia. PRASARANA is the operator of Makkah Metro during the Haj season.

We at #KLChronicle would like to wish good luck and all the best to the Malaysia delegates especially Datuk Abdul Aziz Bin Kaprawi in their bid to obtain operatorship for the King Abdul Aziz International  Airport. MAHB is already a world class operator operating in Turkey and India. In having operatorship in Saudi Arabia, MAHB will cement itself as a world class airport operator and will be able to compete with other companies on an equal footing with vast experience.
Again, all the best to the Malaysian team. Good Luck!
