Datuk Seri S. @VellPaari : Why was @RafiziRamli and @TonyPua missing from @1MDB, #TPPA and #Budget2016 briefing?

On 14 November 2015, a briefing on 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB), the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement (TPPA) and the 2016 Budget was held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC).

Session was open to all Malaysian where they could hear directly the explanation,  since these three (3) topics mentioned above have created great interest from the rakyat due to it being politicize by the opposition politicians namely Rafizi Ramli and Tony Pua.

These two opposition politicians have been saying that 1MDB is a "disaster" by Prime Minister Datuk Seri  Haji Najib Tun Razak. However, none of their claims can be proven and in fact all of these malicious accusation has been answered by 1MDB's President and Executive Director of 1MDB, Mr. Arul Kanda Kandasamy.

Even more shocking, these two (2) opposition politicians, tried attacking Mr. Arul Kanda Kandasamy by challenging him for debate. When Mr. Arul Kanda Kandasamy agreed to a debate, Tony Pua chickened out and instead offered Rafizi Ramli to debate Mr. Arul Kanda Kandasamy. The question is, why is Tony Pua so afraid to debate Mr. Arul Kanda Kandasamy?

Lets put the debate issue aside. the briefing cum questions-and-answers session that was organised at PWTC was open to the public. However, Rafizi Ramli and Tony Pua was not there.

If they were really sincere in their fight against 1MDB, TPPA and Budget 2016 because it is "bad" for the rakyat, they should have been there to tear apart the speakers but no. They were nowhere to be seen. The question is why were they not there when the forum was an open session to the public?

The truth is, 1MDB, TPPA and the Budget 2016 are key issues that will able to win votes for Barisan Nasional and Prime Minister Datuk Seri Haji Najib Tun Razak. In 1MDB, due to its purchase of Independent Power Plants (IPPs) the electrical tariff can be maintained to be low, in the case of TPPA, the open market system allows for Malaysia to export its product to participating states thus increase it marketability. Finally, in Budget 2016, the Prime Minister has ensured that all Malaysians benefit from it, one way or another.

This shows that Datuk Seri Haji Najib Tun Razak and his government has ensured that all key policies and decision making that was done since he took over the premiership in 2009 has and will benefit the rakyat in the long run. Due to this, in order to defeat the Prime Minister, the opposition are attacking his policies. However, i can assure you these attacks by the opposition will fail. The rakyat is now much wiser and is able to evaluate the policies of the government and appreciate what BN has done for them.
