Yesterday, Dr Norlela Ariffin Penanti State assemblyman broke down in tears at the state assembly sitting accusing the Penang government led by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng of failing to address concerns she had raised.
Dr. Norlela, who is suffering from slip disc and was supposed to be in hospital took the effort to attend the state assembly sitting to highlight the issues faced by her constituent. The question is, why is DAP ignoring their fellow colleague in Penang?
I feel really pity for Dr Norlela Ariffin as she and her constituent has been made to suffer by Lim Guan Eng. In fact Tony Pua who talks a lot about assisting the people is keeping an elegant silence on this issue. Why is Tony Pua being so insensitive?
In 2008, the rakyat voted for DAP because they were protesting against Barisan Nasional. Now, the rakyat is paying the price and suffering as DAP is more interested in playing politics rather than helping the people as demonstrated by PKR's Dr Norlela Ariffin.
