Fugro will lead the way in #MH370 search

We at #KLChronicle take note of the statement made by Malaysia's Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai a few hours ago that the search of MAS Flight #MH370 would proceed to the second phase of the search which would involve an additional area of 60,000 square kilometres. The commitment by the Transport Minister has been received positively by the family members of the deceased as it shows Malaysia's unwavering support to the affected families.

Minister Liow Tiong Lai was quoted as saying saying that Fugro will be leading the search using two (2) of their high technology vessels namely Fugro Equator and Fugro Discovery, which would be deployed for the second phase search after the current search was completed.

For us at #KLChronicle, the fact that Malaysia is still committed to searching fligh MH370 clearly demonstrates that the government never for once relinquished its responsibility towards the victims families.

The lies propogated by the Chinese families who have tried to tarnish the image of the Malaysian government is irresponsible and uncalled for. Just look at how much money and energy has been spent by Malaysia and to a certain extend Australia to ensure this search mission a success.

The question now is, China with its so called military might, why have it not lead the search effort whereas the victims of flight 370 are majority chinese from China?

If it truly cares for its people it would have done it a long time ago. Period.
