The True Story of what happened to @MAS #MH179 yesterday @naj_mahal @AKaprawi @LiowTiongLai

Malaysia Airlines' flight MH179 from Kuala Lumpur to Colombo on 9 May 2015 made a turnback to KLIA due to a disruptive passenger.

The intoxicated passenger started harrassing Malaysia Airlines' crew shortly after the flight was airborne. Due to his big body size, other guests had to assist the crew to restraint the passenger.

To ensure safety and comfort of those onboard, the commander of the flight made a decision to make a turnback. Upon arrival in KLIA, the disruptive passenger was handed over to the authority.

MH179D then departed Kuala Lumpur for Colombo on 10 May 2015 at 10:06am.

Comments : So folks, stop coming out with conspiracy theories that there were some technical problem with the plane yesterday. There was none to begin with. It was due to disruptive passengers who was a flight risk to the entire crew and passengers on board MH179. MAS has been doing a good job in recovering from a bad year and as Malaysians let's support our flag carrier will you? Thanks!
