Take @MyRapidKL shuttle buses To The @F1 Race, Cheaper & Convenient

Hi folks, today is the penultimate PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix F1 race. To those who have yet to decide on how to go to Sepang, we are recommending for you to take the MyRapidKL shuttle buses as it is more convenient rather than driving to the circuit. There will be more than 100 buses in service for the race, F1 fans will find it convenient to just hop on the bus and leave their cars at home.

Rapid KL bus services will be operating for the entire day event, with buses commencing operations as early as 8:00am, with the last service at 7.30 pm on Friday and Saturday; and at 8.30 pm for Race Day on Sunday.

According to MyRapid:
“We have committed to SIC to provide a total of 103 buses on Race Day, 72 buses on Saturday and 38 buses for Friday. Apart from pick-up and drop-off points at KLIA2, KLCC and KL Sentral, we have added a fourth point at the KLIA Long Term Parking zone.
“Basically, this will serve those coming from the airport and those who still wish to drive but opt to park at the Long Term Parking to avoid traffic congestion around the circuit. It is still a good idea, but I strongly recommend fans to use public transport for a full hassle-free journey to enjoy the F1 race.
Tickets for the bus services would be sold at all the pick-up points during the event including advance sales at KLCC and KL Sentral.
Tickets are priced at RM10 for single journey trips between KLIA2 and KLIA Long Term Car Park, which is situated next to the KLIA Main Terminal Building, and the circuit. No return trip tickets are being offered for this sector. Single journey trips from KLCC and KL Sentral are priced at RM18 and RM30 for a return trip.
For all three days, the first bus will depart at 8am from all pick-up points with the last bus at each location is scheduled at 1 pm. Frequency of the buses would be at 30-minute intervals.
“For the return journey, the first bus will leave SIC at 4pm with the last bus scheduled at 7.30pm for Friday and Saturday and 8.30pm on Sunday to facilitate those returning from the after-race concert, which is scheduled to end at 7.30pm,” Zulkifli added.
