Justice for Teoh Beng Hock, What About Justice for MACC?

Beng Hock sister should demand @dapmalaysia and @limkitsiang divulge information on the Selangor scandal that was happening when Beng Hock was called to the MACC
The Teoh Beng Hock case has resurfaced again. This time due to the Court of Appeal, which on September 5 set aside the open verdict by a coroner on Beng Hock's death, ruling out suicide. Personally, this Teoh Beng Hock case has been dragging for far too long, currently in its fifth year without any closure for the Beng Hock family and to a certain extend the Malaysia Anti Corruption Commission (MACC).

The MACC has come under fire from various quarters since the death of Teoh Beng Hock five years ago. The most vicious attack and slander that it received was from the Democratic Action Party (DAP) through its leaders which are Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng. They have not only attacked the MACC inside the country, they have also actually started a road-show going around various other countries and attacking the MACC, with most recently in Shanghai.

My question is, why are they attacking the MACC? The first thing that DAP should do is to do an internal investigation on why was Teoh Beng Hock called to the MACC. The print and online media at that time noted that the reason TBH was called to the MACC was due to the abuse of power and mismanagement of public funds by DAP's state assemblymen in Selangor. DAP has tried to deny this allegation but until now they have failed to convince the public.

On another note, rather than defending the allegations against them, DAP started attacking MACC's investigators on their Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This is akin to attacking the custom officers for checking and confiscating contraband in your luggage whereas you yourself are breaking the law. In my opinion, this type of behavior is typical in an organization that has committed crimes but trying to cover it by blaming someone else i.e. in this case the MACC.

I would like my readers to really think hard on this issue. The root cause of TBH death is not because of MACC, it is because of the investigation that MACC was doing. TBH was only a witness. In fact MACC would benefit greatly if TBH were alive as he was the one who was assisting the MACC. Now, who would you think benefit from TBH death?

In my opinion, Definitely not the MACC!
