However, taking into consideration the timing of his sacking, 3 days after coming back from Gaza with the Prime Minister, one can only assume that this was the actual reason Ustaz Nasha was removed from his powerful position in the Syura Council.
This fact was also echoed by the Prime Minister when he said :
"The timing of his (Nasha's) dismissal after he returned to the country from Gaza gives the perception that they are related,"
The PM also said Nasharudin did not criticise any party during the trip, and the PAS member joined the trip because he is a believer of Muslim unity.
"It seems that actions have been taken against him although he has earnest intention,"
In addition, below was the response from Ustaz Nasha himself which proves that PAS was lying to the press and was not being entirely honest in this case.
Terima kasih semua rakan rakan saya.Saya menerima ratusan sms,email dan panggilan talipon.Sehingga disaat saya hantar sms ini saya masih belum menerima sebarang surat menyatakan perlucutan jawatan tersebut. Walau apa pun,perjuangan untuk mendaulatkan Islam mesti diteruskan,berjawatan atau tidak.
Jawatan tersebut adalah lantikan Parti, bukan pilihan saya, jika Parti ambil kembali jawatan itu, itu adalah hak Parti. Cuma setakat ini saya hanya tahu tentang pemecatan tersebut melalui media dan tidak melalui saluran rasmi Parti.
Berorganisasi hanya lah wadah tetapi berpegang pada prinsip adalah satu tuntutan. Saya akan terus berikan sumbangan terbaik kepada mana mana pihak yang ingin mendaulatkan Islam.
